We Teach You Technology
FSL SeniorNet is a program of Family Service League. Since 1999 FSL SeniorNet has been educating Long Island adults, fifty and over, in the use of technology: smartphones, tablets, laptops and desktop computers.
In-person classes are held in in our Huntington, Bay Shore and Blue Point locations. Seminars are held at local libraries. Webinars are held online using Zoom, the free video chat platform.
Personalized individual technical training for smartphones, tablets, laptops, and desktop computers (Mac and PC) and more are available. Just let us know what you want to learn and we’ll match you with an experienced teacher.
Our Classes, Webinars, and Seminars
Our classes, webinars, and seminars provide a welcoming environment for all of our students. Classes teach how to use technology with individual attention and hands-on instruction for beginners to advanced students. Conversely, our seminars and free webinars are class introductions where we show what can be done using today’s technology.

Who are we?
We are seniors teaching seniors. Our teachers, coaches, and staff are retired volunteers giving their time to FSL SeniorNet’s mission. They are remarkable people who enjoy a sense of accomplishment in their retirement years by working together to help others.
Where do we teach?
Our seminars and classes have been held in Long Island libraries, community and religious centers, the Northport VA Medical Center, and our modern computer labs in Huntington, Bay Shore, and Blue Point. Whether we teach in brick and mortar classrooms with printed handouts and manuals or online with digital documents and media, our teachers and coaches have been and continue to be dedicated to bringing you the best learning experience.
Why FSL SeniorNet?
We are all feeling the push to use new technology just to get by in life; be it a smartphone, tablet, laptop, or desktop computer. These devices are used for shopping, finding restaurants, planning trips, watching movies, or sharing pictures with family and friends to name some fun activities. More pressingly, we need to use new technology to do mundane tasks like making doctors’ appointments, even meeting with our doctors online, accessing medical records, banking, paying bills, and, of course, paying taxes. FSL SeniorNet has more than two decades worth of experience teaching seniors to use and get the most out of technology. And since we are seniors teaching seniors with both patience and respect, we have great reviews. More tellingly, our students like us and return to take more classes.
